How to style your bump for the cold season

Gone are the days when frumpy and over sized maternity clothing were the order of the day for pregnant women.

A lot of mothers-to-be have embraced their bumps and aren't afraid to flaunt their bumps in anything that they wear.

With the cold weather officially with us, it can be very easy to want to bundle up without paying too much attention to style - no judgement or pressure to do so though.

For those that are pregnant and would want to learn how to dress their bumps during this cold weather, here are some styling ideas to steal from media personality Janet Mbugua Ndichu.

1. Rock a long fitted dress and pair it with a long waterfall coat and boots to handle the rainy weather.

2. One jumpsuit, two ways. On the left Janet paired her jumpsuit with a midi, sleeveless half-coat and on the right she went a bit edgier and chose to complement her look with a leather jacket.

3. Judging from majority of her outfits, she has embraced the color black as you can see from this simple laid back outfit.

4.Channeling her inner tomboy, she paired this black and white print jumpsuit with a leather jacket and white sneakers.
