How to get rid of the onion smell from your hands

This is how you can get rid of that pungent onion smell from your hands.

You try applying extra soap while washing your hands but the smell just won't go away.

Good thing there are ways to easily get rid of that smell.

According to Lifehacker, all you need to do is rub your hands with a stainless steel object, for example, a spoon or even on the sink under cold water.

So basically the spoon is supposed to act as soap.

The stainless steel will supposedly 'wash away' some of the smell and then you can wash them with actual soap to finish of the rest of the smell.

This trick could also work for garlic.

There are apparently stainless steel bars that are meant for that purpose.

Will you be trying this trick out?
