About Kenyan airways business class
Kenya airways has been in business for close to 41 years now and over the years they have expanded flight services to 53 destinations now. The state-owned airline experienced a major breakthrough when they succeeded to get direct flights to the United States. The first non-stop direct flight to New York is set to happen in October 2018.
However Kenya Airways has been going through a series of making losses for the last five years. This has been credited to corruption and looting by top management. Up until now no one has been found culpable therefore no one has been indicted.
Summary of the Kenya Airlines business class
Many reviewers on Trip Advisor have given the airline's business class a “very good” rating just short of “excellent”.
On an overall basis, any person who wants to use Kenya Airlines will not have a bad experience.
The positive things are:
1. Food
Reviewers praised the food offered as being well-cooked. One reviewer said that the food is also served while hot which is very rare for many airlines in the world.
Reviewers however requested the airline to increase the options in the menu. Drinks offered in the cabin are diverse, in fact some reviewers lauded the national carrier for offering Kenyan beverages such as Brookside and Pick ‘N’ Peel.
2. Cleanliness
The airline was given a 4 star rating on cleanliness. Reviewers on Trip advisor loved the fact that the cabin is clean and well managed.
The legroom is not so badly off because passengers in the business class can comfortably make their seat a bed and sleep. It was given a rating of 3.5 stars.
3. Pricing
An overwhelming majority reviewers on Trip Advisor praised the airline for affordable pricing. The airline offers affordable prices for the business class. Many reviewers liked the fact that the Kenyan airline business class is much cheaper compared to other regular airlines.
The negative things are:
1. Seat comfort
The seats were deemed uncomfortable. Reviewers particularly did not enjoy the comfort of the Dreamliner plane. In fact others recommended that Kenya airways buys Airbus planes because it offers more comfortable seats.
2. Customer Service
It appears, Kenya Airways needs to review its customer service policy. Many reviewers on Trip advisor complained of grumpy staff who are not nice. Some were not serving the drinks regularly as the reviewers complained. Bradders Cambridge wrote, “Night flight no drink offered for 5 hours, staff very unfriendly.”
Review Rating
I rate Kenya Airlines business class 6/10.
