Worry not, we’ve got you. Here’s five ways to effectively clean your panties.

1.    Spot and soak

The best way to prevent a stain is to rinse it out immediately you remove them or (if you’re in the house already) immediately you noticed that you’ve spotted it. If it’s a period stain, run cold water on it before rinsing it. Hot water will make the stain stick.

2.    Make a stain remover paste

Get yourself some baking soda to make a paste. Mix a spoonful of baking soda with some water to make a grainy paste. Apply it on the stain and let it stay overnight or for a few hours before washing.

3.    Fresh lemon

On light fabric underwear you can also use fresh lemon. Just squeeze fresh lemon juice on the stain and let it sit for at least 30 minutes before washing your panty.

4.    Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is great for light fabrics too. Use it the same you would fresh lemon only, be very careful when applying it on darker colors. Hydrogen peroxide may discolor them.

5.    Salt

Rub some table salt into your stains and let it stay for a while before you wash your panties. This also helps with oil stains. Also if you’re wearing contact lenses, a few drops of contact solution on your panties should also do the trick.

It takes a little extra effort, but at the end of the day, saving your favorite pair of undies from nasty looking stains is totally worth it.
