This is not a prank as I got to meet these gentlemen at the 25th Kenya's Home Expo held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

The duo manages a company identified as Bend Art which specializes in producing unique bending machines.

The equipment immensely cut the cost of generating steel and iron designs used to make doors, windows, furniture among others.

Bend Art believes in making the production process of iron materials faster, cheaper and efficient.

Unlike the traditional process where the iron or steel needs to be heated to a molten state in order to bend then design appropriately, the bending machines are manual and use no electricity.

Making a demonstration at the Expo, one of the businessmen told onlookers that for a raw metal bar which costs roughly Sh20, one can make a design whose market price is Sh300.

But to set you apart in the market you could sell the same for half the price and still make a huge profit.

“If you produce 100 of the design for one hour, then you will make Sh15000 hourly,” he mentioned.

The German nationals explained that the machines were only available during exhibitions and cannot be sold randomly in order to protect the business of their customers.

“We do not want to flood the market with these machines because if we do so then our clients will not make profit”.

A complete set of the amazing machines is being sold at $8500 (estimated at Sh850,000).

The Home Expo started on 27th April and will end on 30th April.

Here is a video of how it works:
