5 mistakes people make when they feel overwhelmed
Stop doing yourself an injustice by doing this.
Some people know how to deal with it while others don’t. For those that don’t here are some tips of what not to do.
1.Giving up
It’s very easy to give up when things go left. Everything around you seem to fall apart and you can barely hang on.
Giving up is just doing yourself injustice.
That difficult situation is the moment you should strive to find your inner strength and push on.
2.Not doing anything about it
Feeling like crap is one thing but doing nothing about it doesn’t solve anything. Aaliyah couldn’t have said it better in her hit song Try Again: you need to dust yourself off and try again.
3.Being negative
It’s easy to be negative when things are tough and it’s understandable; we’re only human. Choosing to find the positive while in that situation is what will get you out of it though.
4.Taking on more than you can handle
You can’t put out fire with fire. Tackle what is stressing you out at that time first before piling on responsibilities that you know you won’t be able to deliver on.
5.Not admitting that things are not okay
Accepting that you are not okay is taking a step closer to finding a proper solution for your situation.
