After a bad break up or being single for a long time, it can be hard to tell if you are ready for a relationship again.

Many times people are put under pressure to enter relationships but often times they end up failing.

However, experts spoke to Bustle.com and explained signs that show you are ready for a relationship.

1. You are comfortable in your own skin

Accepting who you are as a person goes a long way into cementing a solid foundation for a relationship.

2. You are feeling settled

You feel as though you have already accomplished what you had set out to do while you were still single. And you feel as though the dreams or bucket list items you had left wouldn't be hampered by a romance.

3. You're over your ex

When you are in a position where you don't want to jump into a relationship just to get rid of your feelings for your ex, you're ready for a new relationship.

4. You know your boundaries

When it comes to intimacy, physicality, or any other situation, you know where to draw the line. You would rather be alone than with a partner who constantly forces you into uncomfortable situations.

5. You know what you want

You're looking for a partner to build a life with or to have fun with. The reasons are lodged firmly in your mind and you're sure of them.
