Mattress Advisor, which publishes mattress reviews and sleep advice studied the sleeping habits and relationships of 1,000 Americans aged between 18 and 73 to determine the correlation between the two.
95.9% of the subjects who slept well showed that they were happy in their relationships.
Here are what 4 couples' sleeping positions mean for their sex lives.
1. Facing each other while intertwined
Have sex more frequently than other couples.
2. Spooning
Spooners ranked second highest in terms of sexual frequency. It shows a general satisfaction in the relationship and a mutual need to be close to each other.
3. The nook
This is where one partner places his or her head on her partners shoulder pane or on the chest. They ranked third when it came to sexual occurrence.
4. The spread out
But while still maintaining contact shows a need to stay together while still enjoying some level of independence. Sex isn't as frequent as one partner would like.
