It is an alleged true story of an Uber driver whose life drastically changed upon picking his last customer of the day. Charles Chanchori narrates his near death experience with a soldier who made him drive around Nairobi, one minute threatening his life the other acting as a close friend. He actually ended up leaving his wife!
The viral story whose moral lesson is to live life to the fullest found its way to the doors of Tosh Gitonga, the film maker of award winning movie, Nairobi Half Life, who has just announced his intention to make a movie off it. Taking to his Twitter account Tosh made this exciting announcement just two hours ago.
The driver in question, Charles finally made an appearance on social media after being contacted by Tosh for the upcoming movie.
Nairobi Half Life is one of the most successful movies made in Kenya. Having been picked up by Netflix and making news globally is no small feat. We can’t wait to see what Tosh will do with this new project.
