List of fun thing to do in Nairobi

Though a City with a lot of serious activities going on a daily basis, there are some fun activities you could engage in during the weekend to make life more interesting and fun.

1. Go Karting

If you want something thrilling to do, head to Lang’ata road near the popular Carnivore restaurant and enjoy driving Formula 1 with friends and family.

Get your adrenaline high with this rides as ‘Speed kills, drive safely’ does not apply in G-Karting.

2. Paintball

Feel like hitting someone to get out some of the stress, paintballing with friends could help you do this.

Also located at the Go Karting area on Lang’ata road, paintballing gives you a chance to fight it out with friends without using your fist.

3. Karura Forest Walk

If you are looking for a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle of the City life, you could take a walk or jog at Karura forest.

Located north of central  and bordered by the suburbs of Muthaiga, Gigiri, Runda, Ridgeways, Mathare North, Peponi and New Muthaiga, the forest gives you the serenity you desire.

4. Skating

Skating has grown tremendously in Kenya for the past 5 years. Every Sunday at the Aga khan walk near Uchumi Supermarket there is a skating session where you can pay a small fee and enjoy the afternoon with family and friends.

5. KICC Helipad

If you are intrigued by heights and the beautiful views you can get to see when you are on high place, then the Kenya International Convention Centre (KICC) helipad will be your be the best choice while in Nairobi.

6. Horse riding

There several ranches located in Nairobi where you could enjoy a good horse ride. Some of them include Archi ranch in Karen, Malo stables, New Muthaiga Horse riding club etc.

7. Snake Park

Learn about the different species of snakes at Nairobi’s Snake Park located at the National Museum on Museum hill.
