During an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday night, Junet called Marwa a monkey and said that the Coast regional coordinator had been targeting particular individuals in his crackdown and was seeking to frustrate Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
“What business does he have with the drugs menace? Is he a beneficiary of the drug proceeds in the region?” Marwa said.

A visibly agitated Marwa said that Junet should apologise to God for calling him a monkey for he is a creation of Him.

“I cannot be afraid of him (Junet). He cannot shut my mouth. I am wonderfully created by God. That is an insult to God. That cannot intimidate me. In fact it energises my resolve to fight drugs,” Marwa said.
Marwa said that Junet should have been promptly arrested at the door of the studio.
Marwa said Junet should be in the front line in the fight against drug dealing instead of supporting individuals.

"Junet should be the first person to fight the drugs. I wonder why the TV station allowed him to leave the studio. That is somebody who should have been arrested," he said.
The MP supported Joho when he told a media briefing that he was not a drug baron and asked the Jubilee administration to clean its house first.
Efforts by the TV show host Hussein Mohamed for the MP to apologise fell on deaf ears as he stuck to his guns, daring Marwa to take him to court.
