KTN journalist Duncan Khaemba has been released

He was arrested for allegedly wearing protective gear without a permit from police

Khaemba was arrested earlier on in the day and taken into custody at the Kilimani police station for wearing protective gear without a permit from the police.

He was covering the protests currently happening at Kibera following the presidential results announcement yesterday declaring Uhuru Kenyatta as the president elect.

KTN produced the licences showing that Khaemba was indeed permitted to have his protective gear on.
