“We had to dispatch our officers from this station and busted the two inn Kayole in Nairobi where we seized equipment and gadgets that they were using to swindle Kenyans” Kilifi Directorate of Criminal Investigations Officer Christopher Chesoli revealed.

“We believe that they have received millions of shillings from the public,” he added.

Even after their arrest, requests and demands kept on pouring through their phones as different people sought to know how far their ‘applications’ had gone.

The suspects had made fortune soliciting for funds from the public to help acquire various services ranging from bursaries and non-existent loans from the ‘government’.

Kilifi senator disclosed that the fraudsters had perfected their trade, even sending forms to unsuspecting public before asking for funds to facilitate the process.
