Airtel’s Rare offer to NASA Supporters after Safaricom Boycott

After Safaricom boycott see what Airtel did...

The message informing users on how to shift to its network elicited an array of reactions as it came after NASA supporters were asked to boycott from Airtel's main rival Safaricom.

In the text, Airtel informed the subscribers that they could make the migration with ease.

Airtel assured users that they need not change their numbers but could simply move networks by visiting their shops using their National Identification cards and Passports.

"Move to Airtel with your existing number without changing it,” the message sent minutes after NASA asked supporters to boycott Safaricom.

Netizens poked holes on the timeliness of Airtel's message with a section of the public noting that the company was quick to take advantage of the situtation.

At the same time, a section of NASA leaders including Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris and her Homa Bay Counterpart Gladys Wanga were seen at an Airtel shop changing the lines.

Kibra MP Ken Okoth also changed his number and posted it on his twitter handle.
