US police arrested a Kenyan man, Billy Chemirmir, for the murder of an 81 year old woman in Dallas. Reports have now surfaced that he could be a serial killer.

The victim, Ms Lu Thi Harris, was found dead in her home with a pillow near her and her make up smeared on it.

According to Daily Nation Chemirmir was born in Eldama Ravine, Baringo where he later became a home health care nurse.

He was arrested on Thursday after being found in possession of Ms Lu This Harris' jewellery and cash. Ms. Harris was found dead in her home.

The Dallas Police were made aware of Chemirmir when a relative notified them of his behaviour while he was throwing away items in a bin.

After the arrest, Chemirmir was interrogated and found in possession of more items belonging to the deceased. He was charged with capital murder and held under $1 million bond.

The police have started investigations into his activities after two other parties reported that they suspected that he was responsible for the deaths of two other old women.

He was also linked with another attempted murder and robbery incident.

Before his arrest, Chemirmir was under surveillance after he allegedly tried to smother a 93 year old woman in October.

The woman told police that Chemirmir gained entry into her house by posing as a maintenance worker, strangled her and pushed her to the ground where he subsequently tried to suffocate her with a pillow.
