Muhoro's final words

While unveiling his new team last week, Mr Kenyatta announced that George Kinoti would occupy Muhoro’s position in an acting capacity.

Muhoro handed over to Kinoti during a closed door ceremony at DCI headquarters along Kiambu road where he stated that he was walking away a proud man.

He noted that he did his best during his seven-year service as the DCI boss.

Mr Muhoro urged his successor to complete projects he had initiated at the Directorate to make it even more effective.

He emphasised to the DCI team the importance of working in unity and supporting their new boss.

Redeployment

Kinoti was an Assistant Inspector General of police and has been serving as the National Police Service spokesman before the new appointement.
