Another NTV journalist lands top Government job

The move comes barely a week after yet another journalist left the Nation Media Group.

NTV journalist Kennedy Murithi has left NTV.

Murithi has left the screens to take up another top county government job.

He has now been appointed as the Communications Director for Tharaka Nithi County and will officially begin his new job this Friday.

An ecstatic Murithi termed the new job as a "journey to new beginnings" and thanked his fellow work-mates at the Nation Media Group.

“I thank Nation for having given me a job for the last 5 years. I have worked with amazing people from whom I have learnt from. I have worked with great journalists and bosses who have encouraged me on my journey,” he said.

Last week, NTV business news anchor and editor Wallace Kantai landed a lucrative job after he moved out from the Nation Media Group (NMG).

Mr. Kantai has been appointed as the head of communication at the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).

"CBK welcomes Wallace to the Bank fraternity and looks forward to leveraging o his wide experience in the communications and related fields, in our efforts to ensure an open and vibrant exchange with members of the media and the public at large,” CBK said in a statement.
