Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi attacks Judiciary moments after losing crucial case

Kenyan Judiciary criticized

Ahmednasir criticized the credibility of the Kenyan Judiciary adding that lawyers do not count. He said that it was too compromised to fit its purpose of determining the outcomeof cases.

The Senior Counsel insisted that the conduct of the Judiciary headed by Chief Justice David Maraga should be debated across the country.

“HE Uhuru's tag of referring to judges as "WAKORA" should form the foundation of a national debate on our judiciary.”

The lawyer was categorical that the Kenyan justice system values and respects one player who is the judge “ the judge is always Azdak as in Bertolt Brecht”. He said lawyers don’t count.

Azdak is a corrupt, disrespectful menial clerk who on the heels of a coup d’état finds himself appointed judge, complete with judicial robe and a wicker flask for a hat according to Caucasian chalk circle, a book written by Bertolt Brecht.

His sentiments came after the court nullified the election of Embu Governor Martin Wambora.

The High Court in February ordered a fresh tallying and scrutiny of votes in the Embu gubernatorial election in 710 polling stations across the county.

The order came following petition filed by former Embu Senator Lenny Kivuti challenging Governor Wambora’s win in the August election.
