Speaking during a consultative meeting with regional and county commissioners at the Kenyan School of Government (KSG) in Lower Kabete, Kiambu County, the CS told Western Regional coordinator Mr Moses Ombati to arrest the four MCAs and present them to court.
“I want to tell you the regional coordinators of Western to look for those guys who stormed Kamusinga High School even if it is under their beds, arrest them and take them to court. Let the judge read the law for them,” he said.
On Wednesday, Mr Maina was posted to the school this term, taking over from Edwin Namachanja, who has been at the school since 2010.

The four MCAs - Luke Opwora, Aggrey Mulongo, Elvis Abuka and Stephen Wafula - stormed the school when students were in class. They ejected Mr Maina, then locked the principal’s doors with padlocks.
"I warned you from the beginning we will not allow failures in this school and you thought it was a joke. Get out!” MCA Mulongo said.
Mr Maina was heard telling the MCAs to give him time to finish speaking with the parents who were in the office but Mr Opwora ordered Maina out.
“Don’t force us to call our boys to eject you. Get out respectfully or we will take another action,” the MCA said. The County legislators escorted Maina out of the gate before police came to his rescue.
In the meeting, being the first one since he took the Interior office in full capacity, the CS revealed that the Ministry of Education and Interior would be working in consonance, a deviation from the previous, hitting at the Members of County Assembly who have been attacking schools.

“The dateline for new principals is gone. That’s government policy. TSC works with us. We are not going back on any of this decision. We are not going to change our mind. We must govern ourselves in a guided manner,” the acting Education CS said.
Widespread menace
On Thursday six Members of Makueni County Assembly (MCAs) were arrested by police after they allegedly led a wave of protests, blocking the new principal of St Joseph Girls’ School.
The six are said to have blocked the principal from accessing the school, in protest of the new changes recently announced by Acting Education CS Dr Fred Matiang'i which affected nearly 500 principals.
Chaos were reported on Thursday morning at the institution, as the MCAs blocked education officials from escorting a newly-posted principal into the school compound. The MCAs were detained at the Kibwezi police station. The issue started last week when the school’s board of directors locked the principal’s office.

In a separate incidence, Kapenguria Boys High School of West Pokot County, was on Thursday closed indefinitely after students staged protests against the transfer of their principal Mr James Omayo.
There has been a wave of protests from across the country over the new decision by Acting Education CS Dr Fred Matiang’i to transfer school principals, some having faced resistance due to poor performance in their previous duty stations.
