Nairobi’s most wanted criminal shot dead

Police are pursuing others.

One of the most wanted criminals, Shimoli Jr, was on Friday morning shot dead by police in Nairobi’s Jericho area.

His father, identified as Edward Maina Shimoli, who was also on the list of most wanted was shot dead by police on Kangundo road back in 2007.

Maina Shimoli was nicknamed the Jackal partly because he found a way to incorporate women into his gangs and plots. Shimoli was the first gangster to incorporate affirmative action into crime.
