The bodyguard died alongside a 17-year-old boy, who is a friend to the MP’s son.
According to the legislator, who is affiliated to the National Super Alliance (NASA), the bodyguard had just escorted him (Savula)home and was heading to his own residence when the accident happened.
“Minutes later I was called that my vehicle has rolled while on high speed at Karen Shopping Centre," he said.
Mr Savula noted that he had instructed his driver to drop the bodyguard, his son’s friend and another young man.
The driver and the other young man were rushed to the MP Shah Hospital with serious injuries.
“I had just been dropped home at about midnight and my driver was going to drop my bodyguard in Embakasi. They went with the two boys, one who is my son’s friend and a neighbor’s son.
“It is very unfortunate we lost two people in the accident and two are admitted to the hospital,” he told Capital FM.
