Hundreds of local Kisumu residents stormed Kisumu International Airport on Monday afternoon as National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga boarded a flight to Nairobi.

Odinga was scheduled to leave Kisumu at 5pm.

Operations were unceremoniously halted after the NASA supporters breached security to get access to the terminal.
According to Citizen TV Kenya, Odinga's flight was scheduled to leave at 5pm.
When the supporters realised the opposition leader wouldn't be able to address them, they then headed to the pavilion to see him off.

Odinga went to Kisumu on Saturday and met with Governor Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o and MCAs at the Kisumu County Assembly, to reportedly talk about the People’s Assembly agenda.
