P Live/Pulse Live Kenya fully integrates into pan-African Pulse group

P Live Kenya, short for Pulse Live Kenya, a seven-months old new media publisher out of Nairobi, covering live news & videos in politics, business, entertainment, sports, lifestyle, celebrities and more has just reached the milestone of almost 1 million unique users per month, 3,3 million pageviews per month on its website - and a combined reach of over 10 million users across all its social and other platforms. Based on its successful launch into the Kenyan market and independent coverage of the initial Kenyan elections, P Live/Pulse Live Kenya, founded by Ringier Africa AG and its Kenyan staff, will now cooperate even closer with its siblings Pulse Nigeria, out of Lagos & Abuja, and Pulse Ghana out of Accra - forming the pan-African Pulse group - and using its continental network to inform about happenings in Kenya and vice versa. Additional brands under the Pulse group will be further developed going forward in East Africa .i.e. P Live/Pulse Live Uganda and P Live/Pulse Live Tanzania. Showcasing its name affiliation with this release is just one aspect that P Live/Pulse Live Kenya is going to collaborate on with its Pulse sister brands: from bringing content of the top stars of Nollywood & Ghollywood to East Africa and showcasing the newest releases of the West African music scene, to in-depth political and business analysis on a pan-African level, the group will push the boundaries of mass market journalism across Africa. This will bring benefits to both East African as well as West African readers - as well as international readers in between - while staying true to the national identities in the single markets. Leonie von Elverfeldt (Managing Director Ringier Africa Digital Publishing - East Africa): “When we researched and collaborated in the Kenyan market, which has a lot of great media and entertainment brands, we knew we had to enable our Kenyan journalists & videographers to build something special and unique to bring value to readers & viewers. We believe our staff have proven this concept with the independent, insightful and entertaining LIVE-brand - and they are now eager to bring our content & insights across to our African sister platforms and onto the world stage, specifically in this contentious election timeMartin Wachira (Online Editor - pulselive.co.ke): As Kenyans we are proud of our nation and uniqueness and we are living this at P Live Kenya daily! We are therefore eager to play a pan-African role - and the base of this is to report independently about what is happening in our nation. At the same time we are interested in news and entertainment from across the African continent and beyond. Our full integration into the Pulse family now will enable all of this. We will make the voice of Kenyans be heard abroad and keep them up-to-date and entertained at home.Keep up-to-date with all things P Live/Pulse Live Kenya and Pulse Africa via pulselive.co.ke.Pulse Africa forms part of Ringier Africa Digital Publishing (RADP).
