New details of Jubilee's parallel tallying centres emerge

Jubilee has done it like Nasa during the August 8 polls.

Just like it was the case for National Super Alliance in the bungled August 8 polls, President Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee party is purportedly running a parallel tallying centres across the country to “protect their votes.”

Nairobi’s Roysambu Constituency lawmaker Wahienya Ndirangu who was allegedly overseeing the tallying in his constituency quipped that the results they had matched the final numbers announced by IEBC Returning officer Mr Emmanuel Onyango.

Incumbent Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta is leading in most of the constituencies and at the time of publishing this article,  he was leading with over 2.3 million against Mr Odinga who has less than 30,000 votes. Mr Odinga quit the race and formed the National Resistance Movement hours to the protected exercise.

Police managed to trace the Kwa Ndomo polling station presiding officer, who has been identified as Nicholas Surei.

Tallying of votes in Kisauni constituency at the Shanzu Teachers College was halted after four presiding officers abandoned their ballot boxes at the centre.

"They cannot be reached since their phones are switched off and I cannot announce the results in their absence," says Returning Officer Alphonce Tsuwi.
