Uhuru’s lawyer takes drastic action against Sonko after Today's abusive tweet

The fight is on

City lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi on Friday vowed to fight back Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, who insulted him in a fiery tweet.

Sonko accused Abdullahi of intimidating judges and described the well-known lawyer using words that Pulselive.co.ke cannot republish.

The flamboyant Governor referred to a court case involving Temple Point Resort, Watamu, which he said he won against Mr. Abdullahi.

In a comeback, Abdullahi, who has represented president Uhuru Kenyatta in several cases, promised to make a publication on Mr. Sonko in his Nairobi Law Monthly.

Abdullah’si promise was one which meant that he will be exposing the Nairobi Governor on the independent magazine.

Before this twitter fight erupted, Mr Abdullahi had advised President Kenyatta to disband NAirobi Countystating that it was functionally dead under the leadership of Mr Sonko.

"The County Goverment of Nairobi is functionally dead. It is a national disaster. It will only get worse. I petition HE Uhuru @UKenyatta to exercise his constitutional prerogative and disband the county government and for the national government to takeover all services/functions," he tweeted.

This comes days after Mr. Nassir unleashed photos showing three most wanted men in Nairobi attending a lavish wedding with Governor Sonko.

The three who have a bounty on their heads are being sought after for brutally attacking former Nairobi Central Business District Association (NCBDA) chairman Timothy Muriuki.

In a tweet, Mr. Abdullahi wondered how police were conducting their search stating: "The police are allegedly looking for the trio...and they attended this lavish wedding last Saturday with Hon Governor".
