Two NASA legislators have landed in trouble after they were accused of taking bribes from the Jubilee party, with the intention of causing divisions in the Opposition coalition.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi have been accused by their ANC party, of working for the interests of Jubilee and ODM to spoil Musalia Mudavadi's 2022 presidential bid.

ANC Secretary General Barrack Muluka has already announced the start of disciplinary action against the two vocal MPs who were at the forefront of NASA leader Raila Odinga's swearing in.

Muluka was supported by ANC Parliamentary Group Chairman Ayub Savula, who claimed to have credible evidence to support the case against Malala and Osotsi.

"We have solid evidence about the sponsorship of these efforts to tear our party apart and nip in the bud Mudavadi's presidential ambition."

"The party will exercise options at its disposal in dealing with this matter. You cannot enjoy the benefits of being a member of our party while also working to destroy it. You had better go out there where you rightly belong," Savula claimed.

Muluka had earlier accused Odinga of tricking NASA co-principals to skip the Uhuru Parking swearing-in, as part of the ODM leader's strategy to enhance his 2022 presidential bid.

Mudavadi has insisted that he would be on the ballot come 2022 while Odinga has remained non-committal on his participation - only calling for elections in August this year.
