Owino tweeted a photo of twenty six NASA supporters who were killed in the aftermath of the August 8 election.
The outspoken MP referred to the departed as "NASA martyrs", adding that the coalition must not cease seeking justice for the victims of the election-related violence.
"Let's not forget justice for the families of these NASA martyr. Let us speak up for them and fight for them. Even in parliament we must push an allocation from the *restorative justice fund / victims compensation fund* this year to their families. God bless Kenya," Owino stated.
The Embakasi East MP has been one of the most vocal Opposition MPs since his election in the August 8 general election.
Owino recently suffered a major setback after the High Court nullified his election.
In preparation for the by-election, Owino's opponent from the Jubilee Party, Francis Muriithi has already printed posters which bearing images of both Odinga and Kenyatta.
