DP Ruto hit with tough condition before his apology is accepted

Shortly after President Kenyatta called on Kenyans to reconcile and forgive each other over wrongs committed during the campaigns, Ruto echoed the message announcing that he would also forgive and sought forgiveness for any wrongs he may have committed.
"DP @WilliamsRuto issues apology to anyone he has wronged and forgives those who him," PSCU quoted the Deputy President.
However, his message was soon picked up by Mwangi who stated that he would require the DP to withdraw a defamation suit against him (Boniface) before joining in the reconciliation.

"You sued me Deputy President . Withdraw the case and l shall withdraw my counter claim. I have forgiven you for calling me names. ," Mwangi tweeted in his reply.
The Deputy President has had a long-running war of words with Boniface Mwangi that have resulted in legal suits and counter suits.
Mwangi responded by claiming that Ruto did not have any reputation to be protected and refused to retract his tweets against the Deputy President.
The latter has since landed at the High Court and is yet to be decided.
