"We are watching you" - Chilling Email sent to Miguna

Who has followed Miguna to Canada?

Self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna on Monday claimed that he had received a life-threatening email while in Canada, where he was deported by the Kenyan Government.

Mr. Miguna publicized the contents of the said email which indicate that the Canadian-based lawyer is being watched closely by unknown people.

In the email, the sender warned Miguna against insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta noting: “Tuna Kuonya, Usipo wacha kumtusi rais. Usifikirie hatuna watu mahala popote. Tunakuangalia”.

Loosely translated as: "We are warning you. If you do not stop abusing the President. Do not think we do not have our people wherever you are. We are watching you".

Death threat to Miguna

The former Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant accused President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of being responsible for the controversial email. However, by the time of going to press Pulselive.co.ke could not verify this claims and the Government had not responded.

“DEATH THREATS keep coming from the despotic duo and . The General and soldiers are FEARLESS. ,” Miguna tweeted.

The lawyer was deported to Canada after participating in the swearing-in of National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President.

Miguna dramatic arrest

Before his deportation, he was arrested and transferred to several police stations despite court orders to Inspector General Joseph to present Miguna before Milimani Court.

Later, he was taken to a Kajiado Court where he refused to take a plea and demanded he be presented before the Milimani Court.

Police officers resolved to transfer him to Nairobi where the judge was waiting but this never happened. However he was taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and deported to Canada.
