Mysterious eyewitness in Governor Gakuru's accident finally speaks, makes unexpected confession

The man is said to have witnessed both the late Governor Wahome Gakuru accident and the Nakuru helicopter crash.

Mr. Muigai caused hullabaloo on social media after he was captured on NTV and Citizen TV giving an account of both accidents.A section of the public was puzzled on how one man could have witnessed two different accidents that hit the headlines.

Mr. Muigai has now responded to the questions many Kenyans have been asking. The man, who now claims to be a businessman, told a local daily that he witnessed the Nyeri Governor's accident on Tuesday along Thika-Murang’a road and not the Nakuru chopper crash."I was not the witness in the Lake Nakuru Chopper crash,” Mr Muigai was quoted by Citizen Digital.Shockingly, the man identified himself as Dennis Muigai Ngengi and wore the same sunglasses, a striking resemblance to the same person captured on NTV as a witness after the Nakuru accident.

He noted that the resemblance between both of them was a mere coincidence stating," in our family, there are several people called Dennis Muigai Ngengi, maybe we are related."However, the peculiar eyewitnesses introduced himself as a state pilot and a friend of the late pilot Apollo Malowa (Pilot of the chopper that crashed) after the Nakuru crash. What raises eyebrows in Muigai's story is that the two men captured on NTV and Citizen TV videos appear to be one and the same.Coincidentally, the witnesses share the same name, looks and sunglasses apart from the occupation which has changed from a state pilot to a businessman.

At the same time, Muigai confirmed what late Gakuru's driver had told the police and media that the accident was caused by a motorbike rider, who confused the latter before they rammed into a rail as they tried to avoid hitting him. However, police had earlier claimed that the accident was caused by a tyre burst, a contradiction of what the driver said.
