Journalist barred from covering Jubilee MP's press conference

Journalist who had camped at the venue to cover the presser were barred from accessing the venue and were dismissed.

Media reports indicate that Mbugua was to criticize members of the Executive for reportedly undermining the Nairobi county government led by Mike Sonko.

Mbugua had paid Ksh 30000 to book the venue.

Police have also reportedly warned the EALA legislator not to disturb public peace.

Mbugua alongside two others are currently in court on charges of robbery with violence after a group of rowdy youths who assaulted former NCBDA chair Timothy Muriuki at Boulevard hotel.

Mbugua and his co-accused Antony Otieno Ombok and Benjamin Odhiambo were released on a cash bail of Ksh 200,000.

Police have also reportedly warned the EALA legislator not to disturb public peace.
