IEBC’s latest decision ruffles feathers in Uhuru’s team
It has not sat well with Uhuru's legal team.

"We have now decided to move to the Supreme Court to lay before the world the making of a computer-generated leadership." He said.
During the Supreme Court’s first pretrial conference yesterday, Raila’s team made a request to access and scrutinize IEBC’s servers to provide evidence of hacking.
IEBC through their lawyer Paul Muite, however, opposed the request to pore over the electoral body’s system citing that the procedure would take too long as they had limited time and that it would compromise the security of the system.

However, they allowed Raila’s team to access the original forms 34A and 34B under the supervision of the Supreme Court. This is because he believes that the ‘answer as to whether the system was hacked or not is to look at forms 34A and 34B.’
“We will make the originals available, there are here in Nairobi. " He promised before asking the petitioners and the respondents not to waste time arguing about the forms. The registrar of the Supreme court would make a report about the disputed forms.
A decision that has ruffled feathers in Uhuru’s team with Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi arguing that this decision would prejudice his client. "It is not a function of this court to help a party build its case." He said.
"We oppose the application in its entirety." Uhuru Kenyatta’s lawyer Fred Ngatia added.
