Hassan Joho takes a swipe at Kalonzo, Wetangula and Mudavadi

Joho silences Wetangula, Kalonzo and Mudavadi

Through a message on his Twitter account, Joho urged them to accept that the time of war (political wars with Jubilee) had passed and it was now a time of peace.

In what some saw as a thin veiled attack on NASA principals who abandoned Odinga during his ultimate war with Jubilee (his ‘swearing in’) Joho disclosed that “Not all of us may have fought in the times of war, but all of us MUST fight for peace”.

Odinga’s ‘swearing in’ as the ‘Peoples President’ was the climax of a series of rallies by NASA but was skipped by Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka.

Conflicting accounts later emerged explaining their whereabouts and why they pulled a no-show at the event that they had supported up to the last minute.

A section of opposition supporters saw their actions as an act of betrayal and urged Odinga to hand over the mantle to Joho when he retires.

Joho who is also the ODM deputy party leader assigned himself a new role following the pact between Odinga and Kenyatta which he termed as a new beginning for the country.

His post read in part that” I also hereby pledge to be a joint custodian of all your concerns and interests.

Meanwhile, a meeting between the 4 NASA principals is scheduled for tomorrow in which the Raila-Uhuru meeting will be one of the key agenda.
