High Court nullifies election of youthful MP

The High Court ruled that the tightly contested race was marred by irregularities.

The High Court has nullified the election of youthful Lamu West MP Stanley Muthama.

The court on Wednesday ruled the election of Muthama who won the August 8 election on a Maendeleo Chap Chap Party was marred by irregularities.

Muthama had garnered 11,090 votes against ODM Rishad Amana's 10,950 in the tightly contested race that was marred by irregularities.
