Moses Kuria's special message to Luo community

Just a week after confessing that he was used as a decoy for the arrest of Nasa’s Johnson Muthama, Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria has left a special message for the Luo community.

Speaking on Saturday at a Jubilee rally in Kitengela, Kajiado County, Moses Kuria denounced any sort of tribal disregard for any community in the country.

He stated that he had no issue with the Luo community but rather his problem was with Raila Odinga.

Kuria said, “I have been accused of hating the Luo community but that is not true; my only problem is with Mr Odinga.”

Alongside the former Member of Parliament for Budalangi, Ababu Namwamba, Moses Kuria contested the Supreme Court ruling that was read last week stating that the report by the Supreme Court was doctored.

He went on to request the DPP to arrest the Supreme Court Registrar Esther Nyaiyaki, whom he claims by reading the report, committed a crime.

He said, “I urge the DPP to arrest the registrar since she was committing a crime.”

The former MP of Budalangi and Moses Kuria were recently appointed leaders of Jubilee’s Mbele Iko Sawa Campaign that is geared towards ensuring President Uhuru’s win in the repeat election.

Mr Ababu, who is the head of the campaign also called out Raila Odinga during the same rally demanding that he writes a letter to IEBC chairman to remove himself from the race if he is not ready.

He said, “If Raila is not ready, he should write a letter to Wafula Chebukati to remove himself from the race so that we can swear in Uhuru Kenyatta.”

He also defined the Supreme Court ruling that saw the nullification of President Uhuru’s first election win in August as unreasonable, illogical, thoughtless and absolutely baseless, a decision that cannot stand the test of juristic scrutiny.
