Musyoka said that President Kenyatta's order was well-intended and called for Parliament to expedite legislation to allow the process to be done in a firm legal framework.
The Wiper Leader further proposed that the audit should be done through collaboration of independent state institutions and reputable international audit firms.
"To actualize the proposed lifestyle audit on public and state officers, there is need for establishment of enabling legislation."
"We have had too much political deceit. This time hakuna kutapatapa, wala kudhania dhania. Hakuna uungwana tena (This time we are not wasting time in circles). We cannot be taken for a ride," Musyoka stated.
