Jubilee leader sends urgent message to foreign envoys ahead of Raila’s swearing in

New way to ground Raila and other NASA principals

The move which is aimed at grounding opposition politicians within the country was fronted by Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega.

In an interview with a local media house, the legislator foreign envoys to revoke the visas of all opposition Members of Parliament who have signed an affidavit endorsing Raila Odinga’s swearing in.

“What the NASA legislators are trying to do is plunge this country into chaos with a plan to escape to other countries together with their families. That should not be allowed.” Kega said.

He further urged the envoys to subject National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders Raila Odinga and his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.to the same treatment, thus grounding them in the country.

This comes a few days after opposition chief Raila Odinga hinted at forming a government in exile after he is sworn in 30 January in a controversial ceremony.

He further urged the envoys to subject National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders Raila Odinga and his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.to the same treatment, thus grounding them in the country.

The legislator stated that by revoking and canceling the visas of all MPs supporting the controversial event, the international community would show how serious they are in their commitment to ensuring peace in Kenya.

On Wednesday, the opposition kicked off an ambitious drive to have all legislators allied to NASA sign affidavits declaring their support for Odinga’s swearing in and confirming NASA’s stand that President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are ‘illegitimately in office’.
