Miguna is a Jubilee Project – NASA leaders

Is Miguna working for Jubilee?

Led by NASA Western Region coordinator Khalid Njiriani the Opposition claimed that Miguna was being used to bring divisions in the Alliance.

This they said after opposing Miguna’s allegations that NASA CEO Norman Magaya was on the payroll of the Jubilee Party.

“We wish to inform Miguna Miguna that if there is a Jubilee mole in NASA and NRM then it is him and not Norman Magaya,” Njiraini said.

Mr Njiraini maintained that Magaya was firmly committed to NASA noting that he (Magaya) remained loyal to the Alliance even after losing the EALA seat.

“Magaya has been fought by Jubilee for his radical position, he even lost EALA seat because of his fierce criticism of the Jubilee government. He has served the interests of NASA for long and Miguna Miguna should keep off from attacking him,” he was quoted by the Standard.

Was Miguna paid?

The leaders further questioned why Miguna shied away from challenging the victory of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, who he was contenting against during the August 8 General Election.

They claimed that the Canadian-based lawyer could have pocketed a huge sum of money from Jubilee in order to ignore this.

“Miguna Miguna was a candidate for Nairobi gubernatorial seat, he accepted defeat and moved on which might translate to facts that he was paid not to contest the results in court,” Njiraini added.

Miguna's claims

On Sunday, Miguna claimed that NASA strategist David Ndii and Magaya were secretly being used by Jubilee.

"Norman Magaya is actively working for Jubilee. He took Kshs. 30m to withdraw the petition against Sonko in retaliation for his failed nomination to IELA. He had vowed to “revenge against Raila” after that. H.E. Raila Odinga himself told me about it.

"Ndii opposed the swearing in and threatened to lead a walkout from NASA of Kalonzo et al. Ndii shouted at me and made the threats in person in my house," Miguna alleged.

However, NASA leader Raila Odinga dismissed Miguna's claims and assured his supporters that he fully trusts Ndii and Magaya.
