National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna on Saturday confirmed that there were night meetings taking place between National Super Alliance (NASA) principals and Jubilee.

Miguna disclosed that the secret meeting were happening behind closed doors in a bid to sabotage the swearing-in ceremony of NASA leader Raila Odinga scheduled for January 31, 2018.

The Canadian-based lawyer sharply criticized the leaders, who he avoided disclosing their names, describing them as traitors.

The former Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant emphasized that Odinga’s inauguration ceremony must continue as planned.

“The#NRM forces are ordered to deal with all traitors FIERCELY from today. We know of the night meetings. The People's Revolution will not be sabotaged by scoundrels!” Mr Miguna tweeted.

The lawyer’s claims a day after angry youth affiliated to the ODM party stormed Ornage House to issue a warning to Mr. Odinga’s team.

The irate young men claimed that there were NASA insiders using the opportunity to negotiate with the ruling Government for money and top positions in a bid to stop the swearing-in.

They noted that they will not accept anything less than the inauguration of Mr. Odinga as the People’s President.

They emphasized that there were many people who died in the struggle since August 8, 2017, hence they would not relent.

"Sisi kama vijana wa NASA tumeona kuna mchezo inaendelea hapa. Hiii mambo ya Raila kula Bibilia kila siku hatutaki. Saa mambo ya 30th tunaskia kuna mabroker wanapiga deal kule juu," the youth said.

The former Prime Minister has on several occasions urged President Kenyatta to dialogue with the Opposition in a bid to avoid his impending sweaing-in.

However, Mr Kenyatta has been reluctant to hold a meeting with NASA leaders because of the agendas they have placed on the table.

The Head of State divulged that he was only ready to talk about development. On the other hand, the Opposition want Electoral justice to be the first agenda of discussion.
