6 things that prove Miguna Miguna's Braveness

Is he an iron man?

The candidness and blunt nature of the intellectual fella is on a level of its own. Miguna has always been on the forefront when it comes to soliciting key issues and unleashing politicians’ hidden dirty exploits. From uncovering satirical resumes to exposing the unknown ratchet sides of statesmen Miguna has successfully mocked them.

Miguna has once again been illegally deported but this time to Dubai. This is despite a court's directive that he appears before the court. He revealed that he was drugged and deported following a failed botched deportation earlier.

Before he was forcefully evicted, he was locked up in JKIA and denied access to the country.

The learned chap had been deported to Canada in February 2018 after the high court ordered for his immediate release. He just jetted back only to be redeported.

Miguna was dramatically arrested on 2 February 2018 after he took part in NASA’s controversial swearing in ceremony. He was the one who stamped the document and the self-declared 'general' of the outlawed National Resistance Movement.

The author and columnist, whose allegiance was strongly pledged on NASA always proved his utter determination in fighting for democracy and good governance. His fearless and apathetic nature has severally landed him behind bars.

Peeling Back the Mask basically entails accounts of Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s advisers detailing instances of corruption and fraud at the highest level of Kenyan government. The book was massively read online.

Quest for Justice also lays bare the inside workings of Kenya’s fragile coalition government and attacks the record of NASA leader Raila Odinga. The book is virulently critical of Raila Odinga and purported to his expose him as a charlatan.

3. He has always highly criticized the Jubilee government. Miguna has highlighted their wrong deeds and even produced humorous resumes for politicians as a way of mocking them.

He unleashed Nairobi governor’s Curriculum Vitae. Miguna sensationally alleged Sonko’s hobbies are drugs and alcohol, he added that the governor from Prison and changed his name three times from Mike Musa to Mike Munga to Mike Gideon Kioko Mbuvi. This is just one case among many others.

4. The ‘man with two same names’ was arrested and detained in-communicado before being released and expelled from the University together with some of my colleagues for championing multi-party democracy.

5. Miguna successfully Coordinated the Committee for Democracy in Kenya (CDK), an exile-based pro-democracy lobby group that fruitfully campaigned for the repeal of section 2A of the old Constitution that had made Kenya a de jure one party state.

6. He has been illegally deported twice in 2018 by the Kenyan government but hasn't changed his glaring nature.
