Miguna takes action after Government denied him entry into Kenya

Miguna had been detained inside a toilet at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Miguna has now sued the State seeking unrestricted entry following the long standoff with security officials over his visa.

According to his lawyer John Khaminwa, Miguna wants the court to block his deportation.

Miguna's lawyer Nelson Havi had earlier in the day announced that his client had been detained inside a toilet at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The impasse continued Tuesday morning after Miguna's lawyer Cliff Ombeta said his client will not fill the citizenship forms issued by the Immigration department.

Acting Director of Immigration Services Joseph Munywoki said Miguna Miguna was asked to present his documents to facilitate his entry, but he became uncontrollable only giving his National Identity card.
