This is the work of Uhuru- Raila speaks on Muthama's arrest
The opposition party leader says that President Uhuru is behind Moses Kuria and William Muthama's arrest earlier on Monday.
While addressing the press outside the police station, the opposition party leader stated that police arrested Johnson Muthama under instructions from the president in a gesture meant to frustrate his campaigns.
Addressing the He said, "This is an attempt to cripple my campaign by arresting those people who are close to me and this is not fair... this is completely unacceptable in a civilised society."
He went on to announce that the President is not a fair opponent stating that they are not sure if the two will be taken to court tomorrow morning as required by the law.
The Former Machakos Senator, Johnson Muthama was on Monday arrested over alleged hatespeech. Muthama was captured by police officers in Kangundo and was taken to Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters along Kiambu Road, Nairobi.
