The message excited delegates at the Devolution Conference given the polarised relationship the two politicians have had in the past.
Khalwale-Raila face off
The Governor's message just a few days after the former Kakamega publicly accused NASA Leader Raila Odinga of betraying Opposition leaders who helped him during the campaign season.
Khalwale claimed that he had declined numerous job offers from the Jubilee side to fight for Odinga but felt betrayed when the NASA Leader met President Uhuru Kenyatta without consulting his coalition partners.
