President Uhuru Kenyatta has reorganised his cabinet even as his nominees await Parliament's approval.

The President has  transferred State Department of Housing and Urban Development from Lands to Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

The move is largely seen as an effort to position his government on the big four agenda which he has stated as the pillar of his legacy term

The big four agenda food security, affordable housing, manufacturing, and affordable health care.

It also signified President Kenyatta's faith in Macharia who was recently retained in the Transport and Communication docket.

The proposed Lands Nominees, Ms Farida Karoney is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto.

The move also comes at a time when Parliament has been thrown into a crisis after Jubilee-allied MPs reportedly discovered that the CS nominee for Sports is a Class 7 drop out.
