Raila’s message ahead of swearing-in at Uhuru Park

Speaking to KTN News, Odinga maintained that the swearing-in will go on as planned.

“Everything will be done in a peaceful manner NASA supporters have been instructed to maintain peace..."  said Raila Odinga

Odinga maintained that his swearing-in was lawful and stipulated in the constitution. He further added that they will be quoting the sections of the constitution used in administering the oath of office.

"What we are doing is not a coup; it's in accordance with the law and we will be quoting sections of the Constitution that we are basing it on...anyone is free to challenge it in a court of law"  Odinga affirmed.

He added that this was the beginning of a historical journey Kenya. “Today is our very first step in Canaan, many thing are going to unfold in the few days to come”

Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka had earlier disclosed that his security has been withdrawn by the government.

" Musyoka said.

The Wiper leader said NASA principals are to hold a crisis meeting in Karen after the government through the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) shut down the major TV stations on Tuesday morning.

Musyoka termed the government's move as a return to the dark days of dictatorship.

Moments later, NTV then KTN News signals went off on its free to air channels.
