Sonko and Waititu caught in shameful act

The two are close allies of President Uhuru Kenyatta

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and his Kiambu counterpart Ferdinand Waititu were on Thursday caught in an embarrassing situation after they prepared similar congratulatory messages regarding President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory.

The two governors, used paid adverts on the Daily Nation where they passed on separate congratulatory messages to Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

However, Kenyans with their characteristic eye for detail noticed that more than half of the words used in the words matched.

In what looked like a work of copy-and-paste plagiarism, the only variance in the two missives was the replacement of Kiambu and Nairobi.
