ODM Official Angry after Jubilee leaders caught on tape mocking Raila

Raila has now become a laughing stock

ODM Communication Director Phillip Etale has expressed outrage after a video showing top Jubilee leaders mocking NASA principal Raila Odinga after his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Led by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen the leaders ridiculed Mr. Odinga for eating the humble pie and visiting Mr. Kenyatta at his Harambee office for dialogue.

Speaking at a funeral in Keiyo South, Murkomen said: "Can I tell you a little about Kenya. You know the old man Raila arap Mibei (he said referring to Raila)? Came the other day and said he wanted to greet President Uhuru.

"The old man ran to greet the hand of the president after that he came out not knowing what Tibim, Tialala were. He also forgot what resist was [sic],” the senator said amid laughter.

The remarks by Murkomen and other leaders at the funeral angered Etale who termed it as a mockery to the former Prime Minister.

He accused Deputy President William Ruto of using Rift Vally leaders to taunt the NASA leader.

At the same time, Murkomen who was backed by Cherangany MP Joshua Kuttuny advised President Kenyatta to make sure that the former Prime Minister was given a big office with all the staff he requires.

The condition, however, is that Odinga's assignments should be concentrated abroad to make sure he does not have time to go round the country.

"We have spoken and accepted with Uhuru Kenyatta to give this Mzee a big office in Nairobi, with all the workers he wants. But his job must be in Addis Ababa, Geneva, and New York. We don't want him to roam in Kenya," Murkomen said.
