Special reward for KBC presenter after saving beggar outside Supreme Court

The KBC journalist has received a special reward for his heroic act.

A KBC journalist received heaps of praises from Kenyans after he saved a disabled beggar from a bees attack at the Supreme Court.

Victor Muyakanewas on Wednesday captured braving a swarm of bees that attacked protesters, police officers and journalists outside the Supreme Court to save the beggar who was left unconscious as he was unable to scramble for safety.

Muyakane single-handedly helped carry the helpless man even though he was also stung in the process and was later rushed to hospital.

His heroic act has now seen Kenya Films and Classifications Board(KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua and Bonfire Adventures offer him special rewards for his brave act.

Through a post on his Facebook page, Mutua lauded the KBC reporter for risking his life to save the beggar and offered him Kshs.10,000 as a token of appreciation for what he termed as a spontaneous show of love to humanity.

Likewise, Bonfire Adventures said they were touched by the reporter's act in saving the disabled man's life when the bees unleashed terror. The Tours and Travel firm hinted at giving him a holiday to thank him for his courageous act.

The attack happened as the Supreme Court delivered its full-detailed judgement on why it annulled the Aug 8 Presidential election.
