Sonko showers Gift Osinya with Ksh2million, after scoring 399/500 in KCPE

Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko is a very happy father and he has not shied away announcing or flaunting it, after Gift Osinya, scored 399 sonko has showered him with KSh 2 million.

Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko is a very happy father and he has not shied away announcing or flaunting it.

This is after his adopted son, Gift Osinya, scored 399 marks out of a possible 500, in the just released Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.

Gift and his younger brother, Santrin are terror survivors and were adopted by the senator when their mother was killed by terrorists in Mombasa while attending church in 2014.

After Osinya’s impressive performance, the flamboyant senator had no choice but to brag about the boy.

He did it the only way he knows best, through social media

“Today, I can say I'm a very proud father, Gift Osinya has scored a mean grade of A. Total marks 399 as follows; A in English 77 mrks; A in Kiswahili 85 mrks; A in Mathematics 87 mrks; A in Social studies 77mrks and B in Science 73mrks” sonko posted on his facebook page.

The clearly impressed senator posted on facebook page.

Sonko however did not stop there, He has also showered the boy with KSh 2 million in cash to help him continue with his secondary education.

The senator shared a photo of Gift carrying the bundles of notes accompanied by his wife.

"I have as well opened for him a 2m educational account," Sonko said of the money.

Gift Osinya was a student at Bethlehem Academy in Ruiru.

After the terror attack, sonko rented a house for the family and paid their medical bill amounting to Sh475, 000 at the Kijabe mission hospital.
