Njoki Chege buoys up Boniface Mwangi

City Girl has gone berserk praising Rights Activists Boniface Mwangi for touching live wire that’s DP William Ruto.

In her column on Daily Nation, Njoki Chege was utterly dumbstruck by Boniface Mwangi’s act of valor; the Right Activist has been embroiled in a bitter lawsuit with the DP over defamation.

Boniface claimed the DP had a hand in the brutal murder of businessman Jacob Juma, and Arap Samoei slapped him with a lawsuit for tainting his name.

“I like you, Boni. I like your vim. I like your courage. You, Boni, are the personification of bravery, audacity and patriotism. You are also the proud owner of a pair of steel cojones, so strong and so bold that you address issues that the rest of us are all too spineless to talk about loudly.

You tackle the untouchables in government and you deliver to us hard, difficult and painful-to-swallow truths. You, Boni, are my generation’s David, confronting Goliaths around us with nothing but a sling and a bagful of small smooth stones labelled courage and passion.

As we speak you are going head to head with one of the country’s most powerful men; the deputy president. Honestly speaking, I am afraid for you Boni.

This is going to be your biggest Goliath yet; and like most of your supporters, I pray that you make it out alive and unharmed because we all know what happens when you touch a live wire; you get burned,” Njoki wrote in part.

City Girl also downplayed claims that Boniface is a gun for hire to ‘finish’ certain people; this was in response to recent claims by Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who claimed the activist was being financed by some leaders from Mount Kenya to derail DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential ambitions.

“Those dreaming that they will taint DP Ruto's image through Boniface Mwangi so that come 2022 they start taking us in circles we know you, and we've seen your plans of telling Peter Kenneth to vie for Nairobi governorship but they need to know that "dawa ya deni ni kulipa," Mr. Mandago said while speaking in Eldoret on Monday October 24.
